Surgeon said I had a lot of bone mass, so I want to heal quite easily. My anesthesiologist told me extra pain medication before I woke up, so my pain level was so low. I had no pain when I emerged from the hospital on Thursday. While in the hospital, I had to remove a suction device to any saliva or blood in the mouth. It is hard to swallow the first few days, because the sore throat from the stomach-pumping station staff places through the nose into the throat. My neck is sore for a fewDay of it as a result. The purpose of the feeding tube from the pump is that no blood has drained into the stomach. This helps prevent nausea. My checkup with the surgeon tomorrow, Thursday, 16 July 2009. I ripped out the seam on my right side and pricked with a syringe, so that it occasionally bleeds now. I am now only drinking on the left side of the mouth. I find it easier to drink with the syringe pointed at the back of the mouth, instead of pointing the syringe to theFront teeth and let the liquid get anywhere. This keeps your tongue and inner teeth areas cleaner than when you pull the fluid through the front teeth. In the night I had my spray deck (raise your head, maybe 30 degrees the pressure on the swollen areas) limit, because my throat is extremely dry. Sometimes, when the throat is too dry, it tries to close, preventing more air from entering your lungs. Keep the throat moist. I wake up several times...
